We are delighted to announce the third America's Army One Night Fun Cup! With the theSGL league season approaching fast this could be of the last chances teams will have to play in an SGL night cup due to the fact that night cups will not continue to be hosted during the league season. So dont miss out on this limited opportunity to compete with the top teams in Europe and win some lovely Fucapo tablets!
Both the first and second cups were hugely popular and successful and we can expect the third to be the same. This cup will again be sponsored by our friends at Fucapo, with the winners taking home a carton full of the Blue Energy sugar free performance tablets.
More details on their product - each pack of which contains the same properties as five cans of energy drinks can be found at the bottom of this post or by following this link.
Last Team Standing 3 will take place on Wendesday 20th August at the usual time of 8pm CET.
The Cup will again be in a 16 team format and as usual the format will be single elimination due to the fact that time is a constraint as all matches must be finished on the night. It is important that matches begin promptly at 8pm CET so there is minimal delays. Teams will use their own servers (ping and packet loss rules apply). It is recommended that German servers be used when European teams face Polish teams. It should be noted that matches will be played directly after one another, so please dont go away, even if its for 10 or 15 minutes!

Whats started out as a "test bed" eight team event was rapidly revised with the deluge of interest from the America's Army playing community who soon filled up the sixteen slots offered - we could probably have added a small handful of other teams but as you know theese things work best on the 16X table....
So then, the four man squads will be locking horns tonight on multitude of maps including AA head honcho Caesium's very own creation - District which will feature in teh first round of matches making sure everyone has the opportunity to check it out!
The map rotation for this evening looks like this :
Round one - Pipeline (4min) and District (3min)
Quarter Final - Insurgent Camp (3min) and Collapsed Tunnel (2min)
Semi Final - Weapons Cache(4min) and Urban Assault(2min)
Final - Mout Mckenna (2min) and Dusk (3min)
and your admins for the night will of course be Fixie-Pixie and Met-N who you will be able to contact via irc #theSGL.americasarmy
Matches begin at 8pm prompt and following rounds will be played as soon as the previous rounds matches have been completed - so don't go disappearing on us!
Finally SGLac is mandatory for all players. Any player found not to have been using the client during their match will incur a default loss for their team.
