This is a question for the older gamers as I'm 27 basically married so can all the young guns take a seat and listen cause maybe 1 day u might find yourself in a stitution like this.

Your just in from work you find no ones in yet dishes need done beds made which you promised to do but you still run in and "heat the computer up"

Your say to her just "checking few emails love" but your actully on steam chatting away

You been on few hours and you say "its over in 5 mins" yet you try squeeze another game in knowing she will be fucking furious after.

She comes up stairs doing whatever and Ur in middle or a game you die then take your funky headphones off to see if she's ok and what she's doing lol

Your spending the night with the misuse and the laPtop goes ding "mix" you really want to but u be nice and say no but during the film your thinking about the game

Wat else have u done to get your way any tips? Lol

fake ill and ask her to go to the shop once she's back just say ah I got asked while you where out

Haha this is the exactly the same situation I am in atm, granted I am only 22 but have a young nipper now, makes it 10x worse... got to the point where she is saying its the game or me.. now I know what you are all thinking its a game I know.. however I like to do it its my hobbies, I work, pal the mortage all the bills, dont go out anymore now she is taking the last thing I have left.

Mega bitch... I am trying to get her more involved by saying come and have a game and tend to hide the fact the computer is on and I just wait until she pisses of out to get a few games in.

i live with my misses, i just told her that im gonna be on the pc 2 / 4 nights per week, so she can make plans / do other stuff =D

get her a computer or laptop and buy her sims, shel be on it for hours!

Dude im 30 and i had this before. So what i did was explained that it was a hobby like any other and that yes it does take up alot of time but lets work out a compromise which we did. So i know come in from work if my boys in ill spend at least an hour or 2 playing with him and helping with his homework. Then my wife will pop in and ill spend some time with her untill the soaps come on and all that shit and say about 7 i get on the pc and im left alone then untill i log of. Also on weekends try spend at least the morning to mid afternoon with them as most of the time if i go online at these times i do fall anyways.

weird mine just gave me my own room with all my pc's laptops and whatever to myself now she regrets it haha xD
i get from 2-5 monday-friday while "Steve is on" and then the kardashian shit which takes up another few hours so i usually get away with it

I did exactly the same but she keeps calling me asking for help :)

i tried this and it worked a charm she never stops at it just get her the cheats and there off dont want anything to do with you haha

Surely, you can be spared a couple of nights a week where you're allowed to sit and play your games, could be classed as 'me' time? Funny how girls are allowed their 'me' and 'mates' time but guys aren't.

Well at the moment I work away so when I finish work I can game to my hearts content. When I go home we sort of switch it up. She watches loads of crap TV so while the wife watches her shite I get my game on if I can. She's pretty laid back about it to be fair so I am quite lucky. She didn't even mind me buggering off to a LAN for 4 days last year on my days off so we didn't see eachother for a fortnight as I had to back to work. Can't grumble!

i feel lucky! my missus used to play lineage 2 for hours so she is into games, I can play CS as long as I spend some time getting owned by her in stronghold or wc3 which is fine with me :D

Ive got her into 1.6 too so we play pool_day or snow time to time for a laugh :D
