We have a tremendous event on our hands here, and we would like to to take the time to thank SteelSeries once again for their continued commitment to online gaming both here in the UK and abroad. I'm sure many of you will echo this sentiment.
Now, for those of you who's eyes glaze over when faced with a long passage of text here is the readers digest version :
teams register for the event
the first fifteen teams to register go into a vote
the top two teams (week one only) or the top team (every time after that) get put into the King of the Hill match.
The teams play, the winner gets £100 and stays on to fight the next match (max five wins before you get "retired".)
the teams who were voted on the top five who didnt play in the match stay in the vote for the next week. everyone else has to register again and goes back to the bottom of the pile.
after the match - voting opens again.
there is a two week rotation here, if the voting opened on the 1st then it would close on the 7th. There would be a weeks build up to the match which would be played on the 14th and the voting would open again on the 15th.
Hopefully that will clear things up and give you the basic outline of what the event is doing and how it roll son every other week from match to match. If you're still not sure come see us on vent/orc/mail@theSGL.com whatever floats your boat.
