Well, it doesn’t get much more interesting than this for the first week of a season, the two best teams in their respective countries fighting for an early lead in the European challenge.

As you probably already know, eSrael have recently returned from Copenhagen where they competed in the highly anticipated Xperia PLAY €20,000 tournament. Unfortunately, after being drawn into a difficult group with the likes of mTw and Cheap Times, they finished in 3rd position, which meant that they would not be progressing to the 2nd group stage. With theSGL European challenge being their first competition after Xperia PLAY, they will be looking for redemption in the form of a win against headshotBG (a team which people believe could win the entire tournament).

headshotBG are coming off a win at KGB CM Storm 2011, after beating TeG, 2-1, in the grand final, taking home €1500. Earlier in the year, they also managed a 2nd place finish, against a very strong alchemists team at the World Gaming Festival 2011, taking one map off them and providing spectators with a very exciting performance.
This match up could go either way, depending on the team’s performance on game night, and although headshotBG might be considered favourites eSrael could turn some heads and come a lot closer than people may expect. I would definitely make a point of watching this one on HLTV, as it promises to be the tie of the week!

So that the scheduling of this game runs smoothly, eSreal.steelseries, could you please choose a minimum of 3 dates/times to play this game during the match week (8th May-15th May) and let headshotBG confirm one of them.

With regards to anti-cheat, can both teams download SGL:AC from:
http://www.thesgl.com/assets/anticheat/SGLAC_1_6_0.exe

and test it on a server to ensure it is in working order (it will work on any server). If you have any lag issues with version 1.6.0 then try one of the two below:

Update: If no date and time has been arranged for this game by 9pm (GMT) / 10pm (CET) on Wednesday 4th May, the game will be played at 8pm (GMT) / 9pm (CET) on Sunday 8th May. If this time does not suit you, then please ensure that you organise the game between yourselves before the date mentioned!
