Season Eight : the play offs! UPDATED

The SteelSeries Invite and Premiership league seasons have now been played to a conclusion and the top four Invite teams will fight it out for the overall title of Season Eight champions.

Alongside this the teams ranked second, third, fourth and fifth in the Premiership will play off to secure the elusive second promotion slot to the Invite division for next season.

In what can only be described as one of the most even Invite seasons for some time only two points separated the top four teams. As is usual the the team in first place will play the fourth place team and second will play third in the first play off round which is scheduled for this coming Sunday 16th from 8pm.

All play off matches are played on a best of three maps format. The map pool consists of mill,train.nuke.inferno and dust2. Each team will be invited to remove one map each , then to choose one map each. Should the score be 1-1 after these maps have been played the remaining map will be used to decide the tie.

The Premiership has now concluded with

jog on securing promotion to the Invite tier as Permiership Cchmapions. This means that the next four placed teams will fight it out to join them in Season Nine the matches will be as follows :
