CS : Summer Specials

  Brought to you and inspired very by Nic himself, the Summer Specials area triple league system. Each will run for five weeks and be played on teams own servers. All will be available to be played under SGLac which we are opening to full public use for the summer season. Scores can be input by the team leaders after the matches and each league is very different from the other.

To the far left weighing in at over 250lbs comes the "Cartography Series". The what series ? Take a look on the home page for the event and you should find it's an apt title. Featuring maps that time itself forgot we take you back to a land before dust2, a land where there was no bombsite at the top of banana, a land where - oh you get the idea. Just click the link at the bottom to be magically transported back in time by around four years.

Taking up position on the extreme right and hailing from places unknown comes the Go Hard Get Custom league series featuring all those very hardcore maps which were created for the sadly defunct CPL. Theres a full run down on how these maps have a higher IQ than most of the players who fight on them - check it out via the link at the bottom!

Finally and mercifully laid back with no intention of getting all "lairy" we have the Pimp My Map league series. Each one of the strapping buxom maps on offer can be yours for the night . Substituting the tradition knife round for a straight razor slash up and the russian walk for the oh so cool pimped out stride the Pimp My Map comes at you with some of the more recent (2002 eh?) custom map conversions which inevitably includes our very own sgl_stone.

A team will only be accepted into one event and teams will be added into these events based on how quickly they applied and wether they have a full roster or not. So the first twelve teams with an eligible roster will be placed lovingly in the league divisions within these events. If you apply for more than one event then don't be surprised if you end up in your 3rd choice event so choose wisely.

Finally please pay close attention to the rules and FAQ settings as how you behave will impact upon your chances of SGL season 9 entry. You have been warned.
