We were disappointed that FtD were unable to play us in the first match-up as we knew it was going to be a close game, which is always more fun, so we are looking forward to playing them in the next game. I think that it will be a really tough game as they want to prove they are better than us and warren has been playing with us for the last few weeks and at GameGune so that's going to give them a bit of an edge over us, but hopefully we'll come out on top.

Looking at the list, the only teams that I can see being a challenge are cloud9, TLR and Superheroes.eu. Anyone else we should be able to beat fairly easily.

The teams that I would say are a gap above the rest are ourselves, TLR (on a good day), FtD and obviously 4kings. I think everyone else is a fairly big step below that. I think that this is partly due to us getting better, and partly due to a fewer number of stable good teams around nowadays.

I think we would all agree that it was "awesome but disappointing". We went into it with everyone expecting us to lose everygame, and we came out with a win vs x3o and a draw vs blacksouls that we should of won.
Our group was really close, with everyone having 1-1-1 stats at the end of it so that made it even more disappointing not to get through. On the 2nd day we watched Dig play and tried to help motivate them, and the rest of the time we just hung out with the Dig guys and relaxed on the beach.
Oh, and we played some football with the A-gaming, iNNerFire and MiBR guys on some rooftop pitch - Neil_M wudda been lovin' it!

Yeh I think that's all bull-shit, most of the people who say it are people who haven't played against top teams and just go by what scores they see on HLTV. The skill gap between the top UK people and good foreign teams, bar some people in SK/Fnatic etc, isn't that big at all really.
The main differences that I can see are simply organisation (communication) and the loudness of foreign teams compared to UK teams - foreign teams are loud as fuck and UK teams aren't.

Haha I think we have it better than FtD, we are in a few really good ones, but generally the answer is "Dig and 4k are better than you, only 2 UK teams". I think if we had made it out of our group at GameGune we would of got into a lot more, the fact that we beat x3o is kind of over-shadowed by us still coming last in the group sadly.

That if UK teams could reguarly attend these big international events then they would start doing well on the international scene, + that they need to be much louder at LANs - and Warren needs to learn to buy a defuse kit in the pistol round.

I'm going to Norway on saturday but apart from that we're just going to try and win the WCG UK qualifier and take it from there, would be nice to go to Dreamhack Winter.

I believe so yes, other teams that have been over-seas are -=WOLF=- and Landed, but those were both through qualifiers not backing, oh and eE went to dreamhack back in the day.

i just find it funny how we beat you guys yet we dont seem to one of the challengers in the king of the hill.
and dont bring up the 'neil_m' excuse, nor the 'hadnt played for 2 months' one because we were only a new formed team at the time

... i'm not being bitter at all, im fairly confident that as im the one who organises everything ingame, we would of beaten you if i was playing, end of. Everyone who talked to me afterwards said they could see that I wasn't playing by how un-organised we were.
So no, I don't see you as a challenge when we have our full team playing, sorry.

How am i being big headed? If you had beaten us when I was playing I would rate you as a good team. I personally rate you and crono as good players steve, don't get me wrong, i'm not saying you're a bad team, but if im being honest I'm fairly certain you wouldn't have beaten us if I was playing, so until you do I won't see you as a threat..
And kal i can't remember if tu guapa means ugly or pretty xD it better be the latter !

wanna clear this up faction won coz i was playing. bobby rang me an hour b4 the game asking me to play wen i had bout 2 hours of cs in 2 weeks. no tactics i didnt even know wat was going on. I'm 100% sure tcm wud beat faction fairly easily with zak. show me sum achievements and come back to me k_K?

Thats probably because they didn't play cs back then Badaim... The skill level in CS has improved sooooo much, that if TCM or any good team in the UK now were as good as they are now bk then, then they would probably be the one of, if not the best in the UK.

.. mine and slys hours have been about 30 for ages, talha jb and kyle all have good invidual skill. We play about 3 games a night 3-4 times a week, usually with a different lineup every game. And 3 years ago me and sLy were pretty good in AcM and Jb and taLz were good in wonderboys, i don't quite get you're getting you facts from :X
