On the 7th of July (Next Tuesday) theSGL will host the 4th Summer Series Cup admined by Allen. This time, with Season 10 on its final week we are deciding to use uncommon maps. So far the cups have gone fairly well but I must stress teams need to report to Allen 30 minutes before the start time in order for the cup to run smoothly.

As a change, we are going to open the sign ups a few days earlier allowing more teams a chance to sign up. On Sunday, sign ups will close and teams will be picked. The following day, Allen will contact you and ask for 4 maps of your choice (out of a map pool). The map chosen the most will end up as the Round 1 map, the second most chosen map will be the Round 2 map and so on...

The rule we implemented after the first cup is that on the night of the cup, a representative of each team participating in the cup must message Allen 30 minutes before the start on IRC (#theSGL on Quakenet) to say that your team is here and ready to play.
