ZOWIE GEAR European Challenge

European Challenge

So after a month off from running tournaments, I have returned to start again. First thing on my list is trying to finish this Zowie European Challenge off which surely is becoming close to the longest competition we have ever dealt with.

My understanding of it is that alot of teams have had holidays and players away which delayed finishing the end of the league, so it was mid August by the time the league was complete. Instead of moving straight into the playoffs we thought we would wait untill the end of the main holiday season to complete the tournament.

We hope the teams will be willing to continue on and play the remainer of the play offs but understand if they want to drop out. Either way we are going to give it a shot at completing this on going competition however we do not want this to drag on for another three months. With this in mind we are changing the playoffs slightly to One Map untill the Semi Final and final were it will be best of three.

Important Dates:

Round 1: Monday 5th September, 2011 de_inferno
Round 2: Monday 12th September, 2011 de_nuke
Semi Final: Monday 19th September, 2011 (BO3)
Final: Monday 26th September, 2011 (BO3)

You will be able to play your games any day during the week however the default date and time will be Monday's 8pm (uk time) if you would like to change this please arrange it with your opponent in the match comments. Matches are to be on your own servers.
