theSGL Season 15 for Counter-Strike 1.6

Right then so season 15 is due to start Sunday, however as there are only 16 teams which have played the right amount of ladder games, we thought we would give it another week. I must admit I am surprised at the amount of teams which have failed to play 5 matches in a month. I suppose it is the sign of the times. When you think about it 5 matches in a month is not a lot. For all those people preaching to us that you only play Sundays that does not cut as you have had at least 3 Sundays to get games played and show some willing.

Moving on the new start date will be 16th October with teams released next Friday 14th October. I have listed below the teams which have already been accepted and we thank them for playing there ladder games.

We will be only adding division if we get the correct number of sides for example if we get 8 more we will add a division, if we get 16 more we will add two divisions and so on.

So I take it that there is two divisions currently? what about smaller divisions with play off's akin world cup/champs league? Think play each team twice (home & away) then top three progress, bottom team joins other 4 bottom teams etc etc

No need to do all of that wintern just will complicate things, at the end of the day this is no different to last season just has two or three less divisions. If we don't get 8 more teams we will just go with a invite and premiership be it boring or not :)

no difference to last season? it's going to be like inv teams vs league tier teams in invite? get ohyea(have played recent seasons and turned up to games), decerto is just strOng / TEAMAMERICA and have always played their games, myRevenge always turn up, so who gives a shit if they haven't played ladder games? and what about iym if they attempted to sign up, they played all of their euro league games, such shouldn't have a problem turning up every week for this, the list goes on. otherwise this is going to be pointless

I'm sure "invite" means that teams might get invited right? Still plenty of time for them to apply or put their cases across, I'm sure you don't need to pimp them out!

they all did already apply, just not accepted wintern, this was my point that they need to accept teams that didn't play 5 ladder matches...

They have played 5 ladder games but haven't shown up yet as i approved the scores in the database. I suggest ets you stay quiet now please note the starred message at the bottom that was just for you trying to stop you shooting yourself in the foot before you actually did obviously you ignored that. You have had your say thanks for your input but now its time to pipe down dude :)

fair enough ets, on some levels I think you're right - it's good to invite sick teams to make the competition better but surely they might of had enough time to sort themselves out by now? I dunno. I just wanna play cs!!

Must admit, there are alot of teams who never played in cups or anything who still played every game last season, also some of the teams who have been accepted consist of the players that left the teams in previous seasons to cause defaults. I'm not ranting, i am just stating my opinion.

if this is a league, cant you just let any team enter and whoever doesnt play their first game gets removed. I probably wont even play in this so its just my opinion, but even i can see that certain teams who havent played 5 games have been accepted.

Opening the league up more without requirements (besides the usual 5+ players) would generate more games.

.. seems the way to go..
