  It was last night watching the epic battle between TCM and TLR in the SteelSeries King of the Hill that I got to thinking about how TCM being well infront after the first half really only needed to clinch the pistol round to finish the match off since they would get the first three rounds of the second half almost by default.

If the same team wins the pistol round twice they end up with a six round advantage in the vast majority of cases and since we play first to sixteen that accounts for well over a third of all the rounds you need to win the match - all based around two rounds.

With this in mind the upcoming OLH cups are going to run a $16k startmoney rule set. Your thought's, questions and comments are welcomed (a news item based soley around this idea follows in a few minutes).

The map listing for this weeks 32 team event will be :
  • round one :de_cpl_mill (Sun 8pm)
  • round two :de_nuke (Sun 9pm)
  • quarter final : de_inferno (Sun 10pm)
  • semi final : de_dust2 (Sun 11pm)
  • final : de_train (Monday 8pm)

The teams will be playing of course not just for a share of glory and pride in beating your fellow man but also for a carton of Blue Energy sugar free performance tabs courtesy of our good friends at Fucapo. Each pack of these tabs has the same kick as five whole cans of energy drink and takes effect a lot faster. As usual make sure you are all running SGLac to avoid any of those demoralising default losses on the back of a good performance. Matches will be played as usual on theSGL servers starting from 8pm. GL + HF.
