The Season Nine counter-Strike CSS Championship tier will include two divisions of ten teams in each. As with previous seasons these divisions do not stand one above the other - but side by side. That is to say that both divisions are considered as being evenly matches in terms of skill.
The top team in each of the divisions (N/S/E/W) will be promoted to the Premiership tier for the following season and will play a one off best of three match against each other to determine the overall Championship season Nine Champions.
The teams finishing in the bottom three places in each division will be relegated to the league tier for Season Ten.
Championship matches will be played every Monday. Due to the scope and play rate of our whole Season 9 schedule - there will be no rearranging of individual matches to other dates (this is absolute and non negotiable.).
The nine map rotation for theSGL CSS Championship Season Nine will be :
de_dust2
de_nuke
de_train
de_inferno
de_cpl_mill

As you have become used to , we have not included any custom or non standard maps in the season. There will be no need for you to find pcw's on silly maps and frankly all the teams involved at this level will already have what it takes to compete on these maps. If you don't - then you are in the wrong place,
All matches will be played with SGLac usage being mandatory as usual. A revamped revision of SkillTracker will also come into play offering not just comprhensive stats but also bringing them to you in real time as the match is being played.
Match previews and predictions for each round of matches will appear on theSGL website in the days leading up to the games along with a steady stream of extra articles including a sustained series of interviews with selected players and teams from the league.
Along with the other season cups and featured events we hope that you enjoy the event as a whole. SIGN UP HERE
