Impact : tonight

Starting with what looks like a complement of eight teams the Impact one night cup kicks off tonight from 8pm.

With one round of matches less than anticipated the maps will be bumped along by one as well so there will be no cbble in the final. No doubt that will please more people than it annoys.... so the map rotation will be dust2, inferno and then nuke.

Obviously there is room for a few more teams should they care to join at this stage -  just see pimp or fozzy on irc.

Condition Zero : Impact!

The CZiL season five has of course been and gone and many a match was contested to the death. Many and varied were the maps and so were the requests for "the 1.6 version of the map" and in equal measure "the cz version of the map". Well clal me old fashioned but I always believed a condition Zero event should feature CZ maps - so that's what you are getting here.

For one night only and including up to sixteen teams in 5v5 action the Impact cup will feature four rounds of matches starting with sixteen teams facing off on de_dust2 that most popular of arenas. The surviving eight teams will test their mettle on de_inferno replete with nightime skies as is the CZ tradition. The four teams eyeing each other up at this time will be sent to nuke (yes, the CZ version again) before the final two teams duke it out on cbble.

There we have it one quick smash of CZ action - sixteen teams down to one team in three hours in one night. Sign up is open and we look forward to seeing as many as you takin part as possible. Don't forget it's first come first served and that mixes will also be welcomed to make up the numbers if need be - actual teams will of course take priority.

good luck and see you there guys!

Final Standings for SGLCZ Season V

Posted by en Fozzy2005 on 17th Apr 2008 @ 8:53am - 16 Comments

Well after a while of waiting for the last 4 games to be played, we have finally come to a conclusion to this season. As a result as promised a nice new news post to tell people how it went.

24 teams competing over 3 leagues, playing a total of 84 games played, including defaults. We’ll start with the top division, as that’s where the best clans play for the real positions.

Invite Final Standings
Rank Name PTS + - RD
 1st en Rocky Robins 15 64 30 34
 2nd dk strOng~~ 15 69 53 16
 3rd uk Mind Games 14 78 47 31
 4th nl Fragnatix Gaming 8 98 94 4
 5th uk Sisters of Mercy^ 8 64 84 -20
 6th ukie Say No 2 Racism.cz 7 63 80 -17
 7th gh clanotron cz 3 37 45 -8
 8th en deviantcz 1 55 95 -40

Rocky Robins are crowned this years champions of the invite having managed to keep their lead just long enough, despite the final game of the season that was supposed to be rearranged, but neither team made an effort to rearrange it! If strong had of tried they may have won the title. Still strong managed a good finish again, and keeps their position as one of the best CZ clans there. Mind Games having reformed before this event, managed a very respectable finish despite their poor start. They once again proved they are one of the best!

Deviant had a bad season with roster problems and just a sure bad run of bad luck when clanotron actually turned up to a few and got away from them. Deviant will be relegated for next season, but I’m sure they’ll be ok with that, as they’ll bounce right back! Clanotrons season was summed up really with defaults, they did however avoid finishing bottom… Unfortunately.

Premiership Final Standings
Rank Name PTS + - RD

 6th eu Bullet Proof.cz 7 58 75 -17
 7th eu Xperience` 3 3 48 -45
 8th be Naturals.CZ 0 11 16 -5

Team Godlike despite folding won the title and should they choose to reform for the next event will have a spot in the invite table. Shame nobody likes them really or cares that they finished there. Even so well played to them. Dynamic finished second after losing to Godlike in the final games. Second best will never be remember though, so better luck next time!

Brothers in stockings took over isdoomed spot in the middle of the season and so needed to give everyone a run for their money to be sure they got off the bottom. They did just that grabbing 7 points and finishing a respectable mid table. I’m sure they’ll be happy with that. Xperience managed the single win in the form of a default, but it was obvious they were placed in the wrong division from the start. Pretty sure that’s why they didn’t bother turning up to a number of games. Naturals failed to do much at all either, less said about them the best!

Championship Final Standings
Rank Name PTS + - RD
 1st uk Fuzion Gaming 21 112 39 73

 7th eu Rabidz 4 73 109 -36
 8th uk North east Gamers 1 62 111 -49

This division was pretty even like every other season. Nearly every game was played as per normal too, which just goes to show, the best action is in the bottom league. We saw everything in here from destruction’s, close wins, shock results, draws and an overturned result.

Fuzion ultimately won the division by 6 clear points, but the rest of the top 3 were hard to single out. Mythology sneaked a second place finish by 3 points, but 3rd place was a right dash to the finish. With deathless folding they were just dropping points, but noone manage dot get enough to knock them out of third place.

Sentinels would have done this, but their second week match that was rescheduled was defaulted against them after Felix was caught using cheats while AC was loaded. North East Gamers failed to impress, but they still fought out till the very end. Good on them again!

That’s pretty much it, Well played to all clans involved and stay tuned for more CZ action!

CZ Reschedules!

Well with the rest of the season complete so far were looking to get the last few games over and done with, so that the final positions can be confirmed. There are only a handful of games that still need to be played, so it would be great if we could get them done by the start of April to confirm who really is the champion of each division.

The matches that need replaying are:

Week 2
be Naturals.CZ vs eu Br0thers in St0ckings Details

Week 3
eu Xperience` vs be Naturals.CZ Details

Week 5
ukie Say No 2 Racism.cz vs dk strOng~~ Details

Week 7
be Naturals.CZ vs en Dynamic Details

As you can see its mainly only 1 clan that need to play this, but the other team’s need to be seen trying to organise a time too, so that we can get them done. If we get them played I can make a nice shiny news post about the final positions, so get it done!

Please pm pimp once you have organised a time, so that a server can be allocated for you to play on. If you can't agree a time PM pimp and i'm sure he will alot a time slot for you!

SGLCZ V Week VII

Posted by en Fozzy2005 on 3rd Mar 2008 @ 1:23pm - 15 Comments

Finally the last week to this season, where everything gets decided, underachievers get shamed, winners get their 2 seconds of fame and everyone else just gets ignored until the next season.

Once again were on de_dust2, so a map that seems to be in everyone’s hearts, due to it being the most played map in CS, CZ and CSS. The map seems to be most popular in CSS, but we won’t go on about that, as none of us care for that game! The CZ version is a graphical improvement of the 1.6 version, but remains the same layout. With 2 bombsites evenly spread apart there are plenty of options for this map. Every clan has there own tactic, some that work everytime, others that fail miserably on the first part of the move.

Last week defaults doubled to 4, but in comparison to last season and other leagues we shall not name, it is a low figure.

Last week in the invite

Clanotron and Rocky Robins handed out defaults, which will make it hard for either team to win the title this season, but not impossible for Rocky Robins, they just need a bit of luck on their side. Sisters of Mercy and Strong took these defaults respectively. In the other 2 games Fragnatix took an important victory over Deviant and Mind games brushed aside Say no 2 Racism. The skilltracker stats from the Fragnatix v Devaint game puts Fossil as the player to watch in that game last week with a massive 2438 points, while ADR was just a frag stealing whore. Pingu was the worse player in the game. In the mind games v Say no 2 racism match Oldlady was by far the best player on the server with a total points of 2913, getting the playmaker award for 6 first round frags. Scudd managed to be the wing man for the week with 11 assists, while stuz and shad both went about stealing frags winning the frag stealing award for their efforts last week. Worst player on the server was zoop from SN2R.

It leaves Rocky Robins top of the server having played 2 games more than strong who sit 3 points behind. Mind Games and SoM^ sit joint third on 8 points, but mind Games have 2 games in hand. SoM^ can’t take the title anymore, but they will be hoping that Mind Games slip up so they can take third place atleast. With clanotron losing last week there is still hope for Deviant to get off the bottom of the table. All they have to do is prey clanotron get beat in every game they have left. Some luck that would be.

Last week in the Premiership

The divine v ifragz match was moved to Thursday, but by the looks of things that wasn’t played then either, so presumably its been moved to the end of the season. Bulletproof claimed the default over naturals who haven’t bothered turning up again. Complete let down from them if you ask me. Brothers in stockings completely walked over Xperience`, who only had 3 players. Iyzo got the most points in this game according to skilltracker with 2206 points and a kill death ratio of 2.4. RyGuS got the super bombman award when he planted the bomb 4 times. Team Godlike recorded a 16-9 win over Dynamic, which pretty much means they win the title, baring a miracle (all depending on if it goes by round difference or points against each other). Vulva was the best player in this game getting 2690 points and winning the playmaker award by getting the first frag in 5 rounds. Tru$olja was the worst, just showing he can’t perform on AC! ;)

This leaves godlike at the top of the table with 18 points and +40 round difference. Dynamic sit 2nd with 15 points and +16 round difference, so need to win 16-0 and hope godlike lose 16-0 to win, presuming that it goes by round difference. Team Ifragz can take 2nd place away from them though if they win both of their games. In fact they could potentially take the title if they beat godlike this week and also win in their game in hand. Lets all hope! Divine need to win both of their games to take third place including beating ifragz and even then they need to hope ifragz get beat by godlike, but would anyone in CZ be hoping godlike win? Xperience` and naturals sit bottom of the table with zero points, so have no chance of finishing in the top 5. Brothers in stockings could be able to bump up 1 position if bulletproof slip up and they win both their games.

Finally in the championship

One default here because deathless decided to quit CZ, so Dynamic took the easy 3 points there. Echo edged past North East Gamers in a 16-11 win. BEERZ got 2417 points on the skilltracker and was the best player in this game. He also got the playmaker award when he got the first frag in 8 different rounds. Dapimp came second and got 2 awards, Bomb defuser and dirty fragstealer. Anderson Silva, -N1cK^, OPEN and Onion_Soup all got dirty fragstealer awards. Fuzion eased past Rabidz with a scoreline of 16-6, which now makes them champions. Havok was the best player with 2994 points, a kill death ratio of 2.3 and the tk award for 2 team kills. Bucnasty of rabidz was the worst player. Sentinels got rolled by mythology, 16-4. GazZOTH was the player of the game and the week with a total skilltracker points of 3577. He knocked up a kill death ratio of 3 and as a result got the carrier bag award. D_z__N`` got the wingman and fragstealer awards, while I got myself the dirt fragstealer award. Worst player was wwwMARKLEYcouk with a measly 900 points.

Fuzion have now taken the title through being 6 points clear with 1 game left, so can slip up this week if they wanted to, but sure they won’t. An unbeaten season is on the books for them. With Deathless now folded all sentinels have to do is claim the default off them and draw against Echo Gaming in their rearranged game to finished third. Mythology need just a point to finish 2nd in the table. North East Gamers need a win to take them off bottom, but Rabidz wil be trying to stop mythology from taking any points against them, so it might be slightly difficult. Echo sit 5th applying pressure on sentinels for 3rd/4th place.

Interesting fixture this week. Deviant need a win over clanotron to give them hope of going above them in the league. Clanotron will have then win in their game in hand to be sure of not finishing bottom of the table. Neither team will just roll aside though, so should be a close game. SoM^ will be looking for a win to increase their footing on Mind Games, but have to face Strong who need every win to be 100% sure of taking the title from Rocky Robins. Fragnatix Gaming will be looking for their third win of the season in their last game, to make sure SN2R can’t overtake them in the league. Finally Rocky Robins will be looking to increase the pressure on Strong by winning against Mind Games this week, something that might be quite hard since Mind Games started showing more of an interest in winning as many games as they can this season.

Bulletproof will be looking to continue the trend of clans destroying Xperience` 16-1, by winning this week. It seems unlikely given the fact they aren’t as good as some of the clans in their division, but its possible if Xperience` only turn up with 3/4 again this week. Naturals are again unlikely to turn up, so Dynamic to take the default, which will take them up to 18 points. We need Naturals to turn up though, so Dynamic have a chance of taking the title, by winning with a lot of points. Come on naturals turn up please! B.I.S will take on Divine in a mid table clash. A nice interesting fixture there given both teams are of roughly the same skill. In the last game Godlike will take on ifragz, which will be very entertaining. If Ifragz win then they could easily take the title this season, but they must first beat them, something no clan is finding easy at the moment.

To start with a mid table clash between Echo and Dynamic. Winner destroys the other clans season. If Dynamic win it makes it impossible for Echo to finish 3rd, but should Echo win Dynamic finish at highest 5th place, but could easily finish lower if Rabidz get a result this week. Echo have a game in hand, but that won’t mean anything if they don’t win. North East Gamers will be looking for their first win of the season against an unbeaten fuzion, can fuzion complete an unbeaten season? Lets hope not for north East Gamers sake. Sentinels will happily take the default from Deathless to help them towards a 2nd or 3rd place finish. Mythology will be looking to take all 3 points from their game against Rabidz to make sure they finish 2nd. If they lose they could finish as low as 4th place. Be interesting to see what happens.

CZ Season V Week VI

Posted by en Fozzy2005 on 26th Feb 2008 @ 2:28pm - 3 Comments

The penultimate week already! If the final finishing positions of clans weren’t clear before this week, they will be after. Were back on de_nuke this week, just like week 1, not because a lack of maps, not because we couldn’t be bothered to play something different, but because its just such a good map (and we knew you’d love it too!).

This is one of the most played maps in CZ, aswell as 1.6 too, mainly for its balanced play. The map can go to either team depending on the type of game played by a clan and how good they are at executing that plan. With 2 bombsites and an equal distance from either spawn, this game can go anywhere mainly depending on spawns. A slow paced game allows CT’s to get into position, but working the picks makes it easier to work clear a site and cause errors on the Counter Terrorist force. A fast paced game can cause a bit of madness for the CT’s who will normally be running with knifes out to positions, but reduces accuracy of your weapon. It’s all about finding the right balance for you and your clan.

2 more defaults last week bring the total to 7 this season out of a possible 60 games, so not a bad figure considering another well known leagues recent attempts at a CZ event. 6 have been rearranged, so even if these games aren’t played at the end of the season then there will still be very few defaults. Lets try to keep this number this low, by all showing up again!

Last Week in the Invite League

SN2R and Strong agreed on rearranging their fixture till the end of the season, better than defaulting atleast. Clanotron made an appearance last week and also took a nice clean 16-13 victory over Fragnatix Gaming. Their first points of the season and about time too! Rocky Robins rocked all over Sisters of Mercy with a huge 16 – 3 win, where the last round was won thanks to a shotgun clutch. Mind Games dominated in a 16-5 win over Deviant, which leaves Deviant sitting bottom of the table.

In the Premiership

Everything went wrong Divine, where they got thumped 16-2 by Dynamic, in what must be seen as an embarrassing display. In the other game Bulletproof edged past a strong Brother in Stockings with a 16-12 result. The other 2 games in this division were both default to Godlike and Ifragz.

In the championship

Fuzion Gaming took a big victory over Sentinels, which could mean the group title is easy to predict now. The two friendly rivals, Rabidz and North East Gamers managed a very impressive draw, keeps things interesting between them for future matches. Mythology added to Dynamics woes with another victory edging them closer to the top 3 again, where they were predicted to finish this season. The last result saw Deathless grab a win and head for the hills. They managed a 16-8 win over Echo Gaming.

With the results last week we see Rocky Robins now 6 points clear, but Strong have 2 games in hand. What makes it even better is the 2 clans meet this week. If you ask me this game will the one to watch this week! It will be the group decider, presuming strong can take victory’s in their games in hand. Pretty sure every clan will be out to stop them going an unbeaten season. With no skilltracker again last week the stats remain the same, so no change for the people in these 2 teams stats position after last week. Clanotron will be looking to get even more points this week when they meet Sisters of Mercy who are having a very mixed season where they play well then play completely useless. Lets hope they have a good game this week and make it an enjoyable game to watch. Fragnatix take on deviant in a match that could seal Deviants fate this season. A win ensures they have a chance should clanotron lose, but should clanotron win and they lose then they finish bottom of the table no matter what. Mind Games will be looking to take all the points against a failing SN2R team, who have lost their last 2 games played. Mind Games could do with the win this week, so that when the play their 2 games in hand they can then actually apply a slight bit of pressure to the top 2. They still will be short of the winner though, no matter who it is.

Naturals are yet to turn up to a match on theSGL and I can see it being the same again this week. Why apply if your not playing, waste of a space that could have been used by someone else! Default to Bulletproof there. Xperience` are another clan who haven’t played many. They played the first 2 games, got dicked and then didn’t bother showing up after that. Sore losers, Brothers in stockings would of taken the win anyway. Godlike and Dynamic will be the match of the week in this league. Both teams are unbeaten this season so far, but surely one of them will be today. A draw would be exciting for the game, but would make the league going into the last week boring as with both teams trying to take as many rounds as possible in the last game. Ifragz need a point to confirm a third place finish, but should they lose, it’s likely they will need a win in their last game. Should be entertaining!

Championship Fixtures

eu Rabidz vs uk Fuzion Gaming Details
eu mythology vs uk Sentinels Details

This league seems to be the most exciting so far this season, yet again. Last week with fuzion beating sentinels the group started to open up a bit, but despite the numbers in the table at the moment, this league is far from over. Deathless and fuzion have to reply due to a fault, so that means hey are even pegging unbeaten so far this season. Sentinels and mythology are chasing steadily in third place, but due to both teams scoring a losses to either one of the top 2, they seem out of the competition for first place already. Still finishing third is better than 4th! Echo have the slimmest hope of finishing top 3 this season, but require a win in every game starting with North East Gamers this week. Ne-Gamers got their first points of the season last week and will be no easy challenge. Deathless need a win this week over Dynamic to really put pressure on Fuzion going into the final week. Fuzion should ease past a Rabidz side that has 4 points so far this season. Should rabidz lose they won’t be going any higher than 5th this season! The last game sees joint third teams mythology and sentinels play. A nice close game that will help either team to their third place finish this season.

Well not much more to say now, other than that, Happy Fragging!

CZ Season V Week V

Posted by en Fozzy2005 on 18th Feb 2008 @ 6:12pm - 11 Comments

Week 5 is now upon us, and were back to the maps we all know and love again. De_inferno_cz is ofcourse the next map to be played this week, after 3 1.6 maps so far this season.

The map is under played in CZ for several reasons. For starters the map tends to be laggy unless your computer is pretty decent, so you get fps drops and (if your one of these people who have fps on the screen) people start moaning. Other reasons include the fact this map is so one sided and the fact many clans just don’t appreciate the proper CZ maps like they used to.

Last week we saw just the 2 defaults across all the leagues, quite a nice small figure. In the invite Rocky Robins took the default from Clanotron to give them that extra boost at the top of the table. Mind Games and Fragnatix drew after a server failure where the whole of Mind Games got disconnected on the buy round for Fragnatix. Sisters of mercy managed an awesome performance, which saw them come away 16-6 winners against Say No 2 Racism. The last result was a 16-10 win to Strong over Deviant. If I remember correctly the person admining this game said it was probably come back of the season for Strong, but I can’t remember if it was this game, so may have been a different one. They sit right on Rocky Robins backside with a game in hand. Deviant can no longer win this group, while Clanotron have a very slim chance depending on how results go for the rest of the season. Mind Games who have 2 games in hand will have to make sure they win the rest of their games for a chance of success.

In the Premiership Godlike managed a 16-10 win over Bulletproof making sure Bulletproof can’t come in the top 2 this season. With isdoomed now replaced by Brothers in stockings, the Ifragz game took place and the score was unsurprisingly 16-5 to Ifragz, who are still chasing the title this season. Divine also notched up a nice win over Naturals, the score being 16-11. Dynamic were the final team to win last week with a default over Xperience`, who appear to have given up this season, but want to concentrate on other leagues. Hope they come back this week, we need a shock result to upset the balance in the table. Naturals have the slimmest of chances to win this division if they win the rest of their games, due to them having 2 games in hand, but now that Bulletproof have played all 4 of their matches so far, they can only get a max of 9 points from the rest of the season. This would be a total of 10 and just not enough to finish in the top 2. B.I.S and Xperience` will be lucky if they get all 4 wins in their games, but even that might not be good enough to take the title if Godlike or Dynamic get just 1 more win.

Down in the championship Fuzion kept their winning streak up with a 16-7 win over Dynamic. Osiris who have now renamed themselves to mythology, are now showing just how overrated they were at the start of the season, by not performing to what was expected of them. This saw them lose to Deathless in a 16-12 scoreline, but even so, it pretty much ruins their chances of the title this season. Sentinels kept the heat on fuzion with another win, making them unbeaten so far this season. This time North East Gamers were the team to lose out. In the last game, Echo managed to overcome Rabidz in a 16-11 win. North East Games are now out of title contention, with Dynamic, Rabidz and Echo Gaming having slim to none chances of taking the title. The title is pretty much down to a 3 horse, the teams being Fuzion, Sentinels and Deathless. Mythology will need a win this week if they want a chance of finishing top 3.

With inferno the key is to get as many rounds as terrorist as possible. This sounds easy and like most maps, but don’t be fooled. This map is extremely CT sided, with all the big meeting points under control of CT faster than T. The middle is the main one to attack and defend. A sloppy defence allows the attackers to get the kill and just walk into the bigger bombsite. A sloppy attack sees you all slaughtered by a single grenade as you come up the ramp. The answer to this map is to either take it really slow and hope for the pick when they push or rush like mad and hit them where it hurts before they hit you. Using a mixture of tactics is the best idea on this map to win it.

To hold the map as CT all you have to do is make sure you don’t push and you will have pretty much won the game. Most clans look to take 11/12 rounds minimum as CT, without it your going to find it tough going as the terrorist team. Winning the knifes is key!

I can’t be sure if clanotron will be turning up this week, but it seems unlikely that they will. If this is the case Fragnatix take some much needed easy points, so they can continue their presence in the race for 2nd and 3rd place. Sisters of mercy will be taking on the might of Rocky Robins, who still sit top of the division unbeaten. With Sisters of mercy improving last week, maybe we can see a repeat this week and a very nice upset to throw the group wide open. Deviant will be up for their game against Mind Games, knowing mind games are yet to win this season. Mind Games have just won their first official game since reforming in another league, so will be hoping to continue this unbeaten run. Deviant will be hoping otherwise. SN2R need to get back into the swing of things this week to cause an upset at the top. They will be playing Strong who will hope to make sn2r suffer for a third week running to give their title chances another boost in the run up to their match against Rocky Robins, where winner takes all.

Brothers in stockings will be playing Bulletproof in their 2nd game since joining the league. They took on isdoomeds points, which meant that they had all the defaults against them, putting them bottom of the table. Godlike will be trying to carry on their unbeaten run in all leagues by beating naturals this week. Something that may well piss everyone off in the CZ community. Whatever happens, dynamic need to match or better to ensure they go top, but to do this they must first overcome Randyandys Divine. Not an easy choice of games for them. Ifragz against Xperience` will be the final game in this league. Ifragz need the win to keep pressure on the top 2, hoping they make mistakes.

Finally, the championship:
eu Echo-Gaming vs be deathless' Details
eu Rabidz vs uk North east Gamers Details
eu mythology vs uk Dynamic. 2 CZ Details
uk Sentinels vs uk Fuzion Gaming Details

Echo take on deathless, where deathless need to tally another win to their names, or they will fall behind in the table and end up losing out on the title. A bottom of the table clash sees a repeat of the last fixture of the last season, where Rabidz take on North East Gamers. Hopefully the clan rivalry will spark a decent result here yet again. Mythology take on Dynamic, with dynamic needing a win to get some more points and away from the bottom of the table, while Mythology need it to keep up with the top 3. The last game sees the 2 unbeaten teams Sentinels and fuzion play, in what could easily decide the group outcome, even with 2 other games still to be played. A draw would be fitting to see here.

Once again Good luck to all, I will have match predications up on CZUK tomorrow evening, due to a driving lesson first thing tomorrow!

CZ Season V Week IV

Half way through the season already and now we really are starting to see who will be finishing in the top half of each league. We even see who is under achieving this season and who has out performed what was expected of them.

We’re still doing well this season in the way of matches being played, with only 3matches not played. 2 games have been rearranged, and the other defaulted. With Isdoomed pulling out of the league there is going to be atleast 1 default each week. Mind games against Clanotron has been moved to the end of the season along with Xperience` against Naturals.

Last week was de_cpl_strike, a nice change from the normal maps and even some results which went against the run of the group’s so far. SN2R were the surprise of the week after Urban had so famously announced on CZRADIO the other week, were unbeatable, and they lost the game. Not only did they get beat, but they played shockingly and ended up 16-3 losers. After FRAGNATIX played the first half with 4 players, they got a 5th and managed to get 10 rounds notched up against Strong, putting them in prime position to take the title if they can beat Rocky Robins. Deviant did well taking a draw against Sisters of Mercy.

In the Premiership only 2 games were played, with Xperience` against Naturals being rearranged and isdoomed losing by default to Dynamic. Divine gamers slumped to a 16-4 defeat, while Bulletproof were brushed aside by cliq, who have no renamed to ifrag. God knows why.

Finally the championship is still up for grabs with Sentinels and Fuzion remaining unbeaten for the moment. Sentinels beat Rabidz in a close 16-10 encounter and Fuzion beat group favourites Deathless. That match is going to be replayed though due to Fuzion fielding a player with a steamid not on their roster. OSIRIS added a second win to their tally with a 16-4 win over Echo. Dynamic were the last team to take a win in this group when they edged past North East Gamers in a thrilling 16-13 match.

This week’s matches will be played on de_cpl_mill, yet another different map for us to practice and start winning on. This will be the third CS map to be imported into this CZ event.

As always Invite fixtures first.

Bottom v top in the first match, Clanotron against Rocky Robins. Rocky robins will be looking for a repeat of last week, and Clanotron will be looking to play amazing and actually get some points. Mind Games will be taking on FRAGNATIX, who are looking to bounce back from last week’s defeat and hopefully have 5 for the whole game. Mind Games have been urged to try playing their game this week, but I can’t remember if that was what was actually said in Vent or not. SN2R will take on Sisters of Mercy, who still haven’t got a win yet this season. 2 draws are against there name, and 1 loss, which I think Pimp is rather annoyed with at the moment, but it happens. Strong take on Deviant with Deviant now scoring points, this game could be interesting. Hopefully they can pull out all the stops again this week to slow down Strong.

Premiership next:

ukie Divine-Gamers CZ vs be Naturals.CZ   Details
en Dynamic vs eu Xperience`   Details

Bulletproof take on Team Godlike, who currently appear to be using god mode when it comes to matches in the SGL. They took a beating at the weekend in a CZ event elsewhere, which should bring them back to earth, even if it was because they only played with 4. Ifrag will be taking default this week against IsDoomed, but isdoomed still don’t sit bottom as they haven’t yet defaulted every game. Divine take on Naturals who are yet to turn up to a game this season, so if they turn up it will be the first I have seen of them playing. Dynamic should breeze past their opponents Xperience` this week, with them obviously being placed in the wrong group. I’m sure they are quite unhappy about the amount of losses they have suffered because of it.

And last, but no means least, the Championship.

Echo will be looking to take their first points of the season against Rabidz, who currently only sit above them by 3 points. OSIRIS will be looking to continue their winning streak with a win against Deathless this week, but deathless will be looking to get back into the swing of things with a win. Should be match of the week for the Championship. Sentinels will be looking to carry their winning streak over this week with a win against North East Gamers, maybe it will happen. Fuzion will take on Dynamic 2 and if they win will keep their lead at the top of the division for the time being.
