Ok, so I done photoshop for about 1 month now, 1-2 hour's a day.
today i done a 15-20min quick make-over im about 50% done.. tell me what you think (the skin under hair @ top need's fixing I know)

It looks overedited, like it's too obvious that you've edited it. If you look at some professional stuff it looks a lot more 'realistic' if that makes sense :\

Yeah, I still need to add some more ''wrinkles'' if you know what I mean
The skin is just an under-coat like I said 50% done
So Now I can add more touches and make it look realistic

Yeah, I used a Gaussion Blur, had to really (due to the freckles) I think I might tone it down, but like I said under-coat :P

its over edited definately. the trick to realism is subtlety. use gaussian blur in the middle but blend the edges with the original images. and uve totally overdone it with the dodge tool. to get rid of the freckles maybe use the spot removal tool instead (but its a big effort).

yeah its not perfect and i litrally spent 5 mins on it, was pretty hard finding a good patch of skin but with the healing tool + blur you can do alot
i might do some more later and try and finish it
