Guitar Hero / Rockband

I don't suppose anyone here is any good at either game are they lol.

Just asking cos I have been playing both - we got a copy of each for the Jurys Inn gig last month at Summer SLAM and I have been ahving loads of fun with em.

Prefer Rock Band of the two cos the guitar feels better and frankly its easier. Got the big box of instruments with it and everything but i tend to stick to the guitar. Got up to the Moscow gig on hard but cant get past Molly hatchet - FLirting with Disaster , I bloody hate that song no i have heard it so many times. Gto a few 100% in the medium skill section but cba to go back and 5* or 100% the tracks on easy.

Guitar Hero III (LOR) I'm on the hard zone as well in the prison/jail set, struggling with the Aerosmith Track -" same old song and dance" right now Not looking forward to Reign in Blood in the final set i can tell you - my fingers just dont move that fast!

I've completed all guitar heros on expert (except GH: Aerosmith and TTFATF on GH3!) but only got rockband few days ago. Done all the hard ones on guitar without any problems, i find the drums a hell of a lot more fun though!

I was struggling on medium rock band till i did guitar herno for a bit , came back and aced them all in one go not a problem, thats my method for working out rock band is easy by comparison.

Definately getting the Aerosmith version though. Though this game is maybe big enough to make them fashionable again , I already own everythign they have ever made + bootlegs , books , etc. Seen em live twelve times too - which is one reason why im pissed abotu being stuck on one of their tunes in GH lol.

can play all gh heroes on expert but havent played in bare months, looking forward to getting my own copy on the pc soon.

i just can't be arsed past about medium level. when it gets to the point where you have to "learn" songs on a tyco guitar i just think you could be learning an instrument instead.

absolutely love the drums on rock band though, think they're more fun than the guitar

i woudnt have though they would bother surely there are so many copies on consoles now that pc sales would be negligible ?

I got to Japan on expert on GH3 but the guitar buttons started to stop working, so i got a refund on it. I completed hard and did every bonus song too.

Picked up Rock band drum set and game few days ago drums are hard lol. i dno if i will ever do expert but guess i was like that with gh3 at first.

I wna get the guitar for rock band but tbh i wna get gh4 it looks a whole lot better so im not gna blow all my money on rb.

you can do that, but the GH4 drums are slightly different from rockband. only 3 pads, and 2 more colours as 'symbols'

Stuck on final set list on gh3 on hard, completed gh2 on hard not expert, and rockband done hard in everything. Love the drums

guitar hero feels so much nicer than rockband as fun as the drums are but when guitar hero 4 comes out cy@ rockband tbh
