happened to me driving down the a23 past crawley, sum1 threw a breeze block on the motorway and it hit the underside of my car, cudnt get out the way in time but car in front did, luckily it had bounced a few times and broken up a bit before i hit it

was really bad for me to begin with, but im not sure if that was a dodgey wireless router
but been good for a while now, doesnt go down speed stays the same
just ask them to turn off interleaving (which may be a bit of hastle :P) if u play cs xD

I went from Virgin to Sky 16mb about 4 months ago, I hate it!!
Sky is shit, and I'll tell you why!
Because Sky apparently do not support gaming, well that's what they'll tell you when you ring them up and complain about your ping to UK servers averaging around 40-50.
But the truth is, because they are a typical service using interleaving (think theres only 2 in the UK that don't), for a more stable connection. But their max delay levels are set high!
You'll have to send them an email, yep send them email, cos they won't help you with this over the phone, people there have no clue what you will be talking about, and won't put you through to the people who do until they have done all these checks with you, checks that require you to cut off the call and ring back, and then get some other dickhead. start all over again!
Call centers are not all english btw! fs
But sending an email i found and asking for the max delay levels to be reduced from the 30's to 8 helped,
explain you are a gamer!
They done it within 5 days and ,my ping dropped from 40-50 to 27-30 .... not the greatest. but thats all sky can manage apparently.
Might be better for others in a different area i dunno. I live 50 metres from my exchange btw.

no its crap

net graph looks like a curly wurly
it will intermittantly stop loading webpages meaning u have to reboot the modem every 20 minutes (happens every other week)
tech support is retarded, u cant even understand them

my virgin kept fucking up hense why went to sky, even tho was going to sky anyway cos of the sky box. more tv

as a sky bb customer i am disapointed... the router they send is dire it cosntantly over heats....... apart from that it is ok.. yes i have to restart my router constantly... if any1 has the e-mail so i can ask them turn IL off please post it up..
