Just wonderin if sgl could use de_contra as a map for the leagues in 1.6 such a good map and enjoyable

They should also be using maps like de_russka de_tuscan, but they seem to prefer using the same 3/4 maps over and over again. Ah well maybe next season there will be something fresh.

contra is a sick map so are all the cpl maps and maps like russka and torn, just need to be played more. Me kikki and shey played de_storm other night against jungle and fucking loved it so much x

All them maps used in source and I don't see why 1.6 should be held back and still be using the default maps

cpl maps should definitely be used as standard and then if i was forced to choose another it'd be contra.
sad thing is though if you get two decent teams playing each other on fire/contra and one side loses quite heavily, i guarantee nine times out of ten they'll blame the map rather than being outplayed.
i can see the "oh it was on contra, doesn't count" comments already.
sgl_stone was alright, just needed some balance issues sorting out. i've never played russka or tuscan in proper wars, but seeing as tuscan is used in ESL and some big events as the fifth map, it'd be nice to see it in the rotation.
only other idea would be to bring back cbble, prodigy and aztec which i can't really see happening, particuarly with the latter two.
its quite nice to play a mix/pcw on anything other than "the big three", christ, even mill is a treat. played a war a few days ago against an ED clan on cbble and although they weren't that great it was just enjoyable to play a different map.
my opinion.
