looking for a server thats pvp is actually active (had to wait nearly 2 days to get a game on arathi basin takes the piss!)
but also has some good pve guilds

Stormscale is by far the best server PVP wise, PVE probably Vek'Nilash, Magtheridon or Outland, since they're the only 3 EU Servers to have guilds that have downed the last boss of TBC

Nordrassil is v.good for pve, better than most realms people here have suggested

i've been on turalyon coming up 3 years. it's pve and one of the oldest and most active realms. most of the main achievements are from The Last Watch and Origin from pre-tbc but they are both still quite bigtime. also in the Cyclone battlegroup which is known to be one of the best for PvP quality-wise

Gta remember in terms of queue time, its always quicker for horde since for like 80% of wow servers the alliance population is much much bigger, so theres more people queuing, meaning theres more people to match you against, if you see what I'm trying to say.

ive got a 56 rogue atm, and ive done some pvp, most of its instant, unless youre doing it after midnight
i know fo sho AV is instant

i went bk to my paladin on magtheridon
i wouldnt recommend it for pvp though its shit
