Money?
What do you need it for?
What games?

and arteK, ATI aren't that bad. The 3870 I'm sure is a good card, I think it's better than the 8800 of the same price if I remember rightly.

wouldn't pay £750 for that, monitor is probably worth £150 and that pc is not worth £600. £450 i'd say.

and if you use google,
1100 euros = £878
monumentally overpriced.

You'll need 64 bit XP for 4GB of ram.
The graphics card has 512mb of ram built on kelevra.

http://www.nordichardware.com/Reviews/?skrivelse=530&page=12

That shows the 1GB version against all the different cards.

As i dont know lots bout computers this is probably gonna be a stupid question but yea... :
why is 2x2 better then 4x1? Smile
I dont need a super graphics card cus i only play cs. I thought that card would do a good job and deliver me a stable 100 fps. Or do u think it will not do this?

it is not essential to get 2x2gb instead of 4x1gb, the only difference is that 2x2gb places less stress on the memory controller and also doesn't require a vdimm boost. I'm running 4x1gb and it's fine, problems only occur when you are heavily overclocking.
I would recommend dropping the 2870 and getting either a 4850 or 4870.

um... no it doesnt? the 4870 is a very good card for the price but Nvidia has Ati by the throat...

In the benchmarks some of the single Nvidia cards beat 4870 in crossfire

despite this.. the 4870 is a good card for the money.. would recommend if the top end nvid cards wernt in your budget range :>

Money isnt a problem, i just think its stupid to buy a very expensive one if i can get a stable 100fps with a cheaper one Smile.
The question is: will i get 100fps with that card (on 1.6)?
