basically my 1.6 is bright and dark in places i need someone to help me with my nvidia color settings i have a samsung sync master and my Gcard is nvdida 8800 GT

i've got the same card. I just use brightness 55% and gamma 84%. Everything else is kept as default. May be a little bright for you, but it keeps allows you to see most places, whilst making sure flashes don't blind you for longer than they should. If you get me

i use gappa but sounds like it does the same as powerstrip
