These forums aren't exactly known for high levels of maturity (see the responses to this) but there's not much choice in where to post.
orDeaL
* Not likely to fold, I've stuck at this team through thick and thin since I started nearly 3 years ago. My attitude is that failure is feedback. Focus on getting better through learning, not immediate winning (that way you win in the long run). Be man enough to take losing.
* at least SGL Championship level, can do much better given the same 5 people for even a few months, but people tend to clan hop, seeking a quick fix, thus hurting both their team's and their own development. Don't be a clan-hopper. Sitck by your team and get better.
* Heavy on tactics. "keen"? Yes. If "keen" is too uncool for you, keep mixing.
* A lot of people say we're "shit", so if you're too concerned with what other people say or think, don't bother. The most successful people in the world are also the most hated, and everyone needs doubters.
* LANning, for experience. As we stand now, we can't feasibly win major UK LANs, if you want someone who claims to you that they can, by all means go lap up their bullshit.
You
* Have gamesense and natural teamwork, including communication which is concise, accurate and quick.
* Have a positive attitude and released emotional attachment from results. Focussed instead on long term improvement.
* Have champ+ level aim, but realise most people do have this. Don't be cocky just because you can aim.
* Be able to LAN in the UK, of course.
Why do I do this? Why do I use set tactics and not just play more loosely like a mix of friends? Becaiuse I am bored shitless of mixing and sloppy pointless play, have been for many years. Because I only really enjoy CS when it is played team against team with PREPARATION, everyone knowing exactly what they're doing, everyone communicating efficiently and working together with a shared goal. The only way I get a sense of challenge and excitement is by playing this way. This is the only way I play well, and feel focussed and determined. I absolutely detest mixing, I will never mix unless it's to trial someone, but even then its horrendous. I hardly even frag in mixes because I'm asked to call on the fly and mostly ignored or misunderstood. Unfortunately, until I have a team of 5 people long enough to trust with and teach a full set of tactics, that's all I can do.
It's not winning that makes me most happy, it's progress.
I don't focus on idlers. I don't focus on "sponsors". I don't focus on what other people think. I don't focus on immediate results. I don't focus on frags. I focus on what matters; improving a team's ability to win.

Seb can be a decent guy at times

we had our differences now and again, but it got to much for me in the end.
this guy is very very "KEEN" so if u want a clan that wants to learn strats to the max this is ur team, not saying learning strats is a bad thing
But anyway gl cu at lan seb u can buy me a drink

Actually agree with Sebaceous on the fact that mixing is boring (to some extent), and settling down and getting some SiQ tactics together is actually - alot more fun.
Gl seems pretty dedicated.
