im tempted to play cs now and again.... is it worth me installing it on a laptop? or will it just crash and burn on vista.

Depends on your budget; I'm using a Samsung Q70 with Vista and get 120fps with low graphics on source.

I, i play CS on my Laptop get 150FPS easy. Does depend on your spec though post it below

yeah Keith's right post every spec of the comp most important ones are GFX card, Ram, and CPU imo

Well maybe you dont, but even if i didnt game on a laptop i would still want to know the specs for other uses.

im sure if it can run vista, it should be able to run cs. As my old pc would burn up and explode with vista, yet it would play cs.

Just a rough idea but meh.

kk ive installed it.... internets just bust at home but i got the following problems

99fps , goes down to 40-60 when i have a net graph.... and when its at 99 it feels like 40 anyway
ATI Mobility X1400 128mb graphics ( LOL ) doesnt like openGL , only software mode and D3D
can sum1 tell me all the config settings coz i cant remember them ive done
all rates
fps_max 101
