Ventrilo Problem

was working fine and now I don't know whats happening, everytime i click connect and of course it then says disconnect after, it stays like that, people can see that i am on vent, but I can't see them nor can I hear them. The window where it shows you the channels etc, just stays all white.

Sure that guest users can see channels etc on that vent or is it all vents?

No its all the vent servers, wont let me connect to any. Allthough people say they can see that i am connected, but i can't see any channels etc, just stays all white for me.

aye, sounds like uve been made an account on the vent server but not been given access to all the channels, IE, you cant see them but they can see you.

done that trick plenty of times with ppls accounts =D haha

Shey, it happens if you set a certain option in user editor, get someone to remove it or try and get on, User Editor, and if you want to be an admin, just do your name and just change the profile at the top to Generic Admin.

Thats probably the most jumbled thing i've posted in a while.

User Editor? how do i get to that/find that im so silly when it comes to these things.

Under server admin - user editor, is it your vent server?

Wont let me click it mate, and no it isnt my vent server, just wont let me connect to any vent servers at all :S

think my mate had the same problem other day ill find out for tomorrow

Get the server admin to delete your user profile on user editor then, he's probably set you one up incorrectly.

Or just create a new profile with a different user name, and try and connect with that. That way you can see if it's a problem with that username, and in turn the user editor, or if it's something else.
