On the recruit-a-friend offer you not only gain 300% experience when grouped with your recruit, there is more.
For every 2 levels your recruit gains, he can grant 1 back to a character on your account. At level 60, he can grant a maximum of 30 levels back to your account.
I leveled up 2 characters to 60, giving me a total of 60 level grants.
This is perfectly legitimate. I repeat THIS IS NOT A CHEAT.
Some Side Notes:
When you are granted a level, the experience percentage you had in your previous level carries over to the next level. So if you are 90% into level 1 (like I am), at level 2 you will still be at 90% of your level. So you will notice that at level 60, I am only 10% away from 61.

btw some guy did it in 4 mins, thats harcore. he has the granting level skillz!

not really, if you think about it, all he has to do is level for another week and hes got a level 70 that he could get £40 for (at least) - and all he did was spend about £15 on the account

apparently paladins get it good in the new expansion, not sure if its true though
