Im voting yes.... what a finish.
F1 did get a little boring for a while but I do think its starting to catch my eye again now, good that we have a British driver tearing it up.
Although i fear my dream of both the ferrari drivers being hurt in the same race, ferrari using it's one spair driver and 'that guy on the pitwall who i think used to do a little bit of driving.... michael something? Winking' to both go and steal the safety car then win the race tourning car style, will never be realised.

he apparently cut a corner, but hes saying that kimi pushed him close to the inside so he had to do it..... didnt see it so i dno really wat happened but thats wat i read.

He seems to have taken it without causing much of a fuss so im guessing he probably did do summin wrong.

It was very hard to judge, he gained an advantage, sure, but he also gave KR the lead back and slowed down. It's a very harsh punishment but I suppose they can justify it, I wouldn't have given it though.

These Stewards just love sucking off Ferrari don't they?

Having watched the incident a billion times, I still can't see anything wrong with Hamilton's maneuvers.

If you want constant excitement, no stupid rules, constant overtaking, and speed - watch MotoGP, it's the best racing around at the moment by an absolute mile.

imho F1 is at one of its lowest points; everything about it is now all political and isn't about the driving. the rules getting stricter and stricter. hamilton and mclaren are always getting penalized, if hamilton hadn't been getting all these penalties he would be miles ahead in the championship, he's a brilliant driver but is getting held back by the "officials"

Mclaren do seem to get fucked over more than any other team, the FIA are bastards.

It was a bit risky for Hamilton but there was nothing else he could do, Kimi forced him off the track. Plus he let him go a full cars length ahead before overtaking him.

the stewards arguement is taht if he had gone through the chicane he wouldnt have been able to get into kimi's slip steam as quickly as he did and then slip round him so easily

tbh they have a point (not that i think its right by a long shot as swevring off prevented both of them crashing) but the fact he slowed to allow him to pass shows massive sportsmanship and a understanding of the rules.

FIA seems really ferrari orrientated this year =/

Its an utter joke, they let Massa off last time when he nearly took out the other driver trying to get out of the pits too quickly which is pretty dangerous and thats gaming a time advantage in my opinion as everyone else has to wait in the pits.

Hamilton makes a mistake (although a tiny one considering Raikonnen pushed him off the track) gives the lead back then overtakes as his cars much faster and Hamilton gets a penalty?

Surely Massa's was worse?

not that i think what the FIA did was right because it wasn't imo

but you cant compare the 2 incident's one's you could class as driver error and another was down to the team not the driver... end of the day everyone knows the FIA bums ferrari and thats just the way it will always be imo

some very exciting drivers in f1 atm and now theve taken TC off them etc its gettin alot better all the time specially when theres some rain... BIG BALLS from the way hamilton was driving in the rain after kimi had spun

yeh, when he cut the corner he had a 20 seconds (or 30?) deducted but by the looks of it, they was driving like they wanted to knock each other on the road, to avoid a crash THEN he would of had cut the corner

spa grand prix is usually enjoyable. i felt valencia would be good aswell, but sadly it was one of the most boring of the season.

i hope alonso is in a competitive car next season. massa isnt good enough and raikonnen has been off the pace. so potentially 3 quality drivers fighting for wins next season

one thing he hasn't been this season is off the pace, hes the most consistent driver imo just had a few unlucky crashes and 2/3 engine failures/faults this season otherwise im more then sure he would be sat 1st/2nd
