This is all i got out of the manager of 4k, it looks like he doesnt have alot to say about the team not consisting of UK players, whats your say? Will the UK scene cope 'just fine' with the new *UK* lineup?...

4K still have a few UK players (COD team and QIII/UT) but it'll be a while before we see a completely UK 1.6 team from them, if ever.

Didn't seem to get all that much support from the organization to be honest. Don't know how a team can be expected to motivate themselves when the management aren't even in support. The 4k name was always more of a symbol of the uk/europe scene than anything else. I don't remember them ever reaching the potential that was expected of them. Doubt much will change with the introduction of the new team.

all because english teams dont get the recognition or "dedicated sponsors" they need.
There is alot of talent in the UK scene.

The team havent performed simple, 4kings now have an amazing 1.6 lineup which will do much much better. Arsenal hardly have any english players but there fans still support them and respect them. At the end of the day the right choice has been made and for the right reasons. I look forward to seing the new squad perform and congratulate 4k on a wise move.

wow, I never knew there were so much hostility towards european players in the UK scene.

You're missing the point, as an organisation you're expected to provide for your team, which in the long run is going to cost you more than you earn (providing they don't ever win any events), and no offense to 4k, but afaik they weren't putting the effort in to get any better and start competing internationally, where as teams like TCM and Dig are actually putting time and effort in to practicing (hence why they are still representing their organisations)

has tcm or dig played the new 4k yet ?

yes both played 4k in esl masters quals and both beat 4k but then 4k beat tcm a few days after
