Basically got given a a crt monitor, and basically having a resolution problem.

When I'm out of game I use 1024x768 for my desktop res, it's fine and no corners or edges are cut off. But when I'm on tf2 (same res) it cuts off 2cm's off of each of the edges, and on css aswell (800x600) it does the same.

Any ideas?

Can't you use the buttons on your monitor to stretch it, making it fill the whole screen?

most crt's won't have a auto-adjust but you just stretch the image. The downside to CRT's Winking

think it could do with your refresh rate, make sure they are all the same. Your tf2 could be at like 75hz and your desktop at 60 ect

just set your desktop to whatever your tf2 is.

im sure its that

Yeah I know I could stretch the screen, I just thought that would affect my desktop aswell? Meh I'll try it, cheers!
