Basicaly my mate is building a new pc has a 2 grand budget and is looking at the following as a base i needs help though to a see if they will run together and b weather you can spec a better one.

you wouldnt, he asked for £2k spec i gave it to him. I will make a spec for what i would have if i had 2k.

Most games and applications dont need a 2k pc to run them.

So spend the rest on a holiday.

well with dx11 around the corner and ATI to release the 1st dx11 card. I would hang on a sec.

But saying that i cant remember if i read about dx11 being backwards compatible with dx10 cards or something.
