basically i play for about 30mins then my graphics goes into like a whirlspin all the pixels fucked up and just crashes and shit and then i press reset and it does it when it starts up and only way to get rid of it is by turning it off by the back and turning it on again
is that a sign of my gfx card being fucked??? and no other way to fix it?
because i remember i did knock the heatsink outta place and now its loose i can move the heatsink side to side and it feels sticky underneath (obv the heatsink paste) its not meant to move isit? lol

sounds like it's overheating; try running some temp monitoring programs and see what they bring up. either gonna be temps or video memory problems, but those usually give error messages - so chances are its overheating, and no it's not meant to move

u either need a new psu coz ur gfx card is 2 powerful or u need 2 alter fan speed sumhow

if there's not enough power generally the whole PC will just shut down, what happened to mine when trying to use a 9800GT + dual core on a 320W (crap) PSU; actually killed the PSU quite literally...

well its a 8400gs so its not a powerful card at all...
psu is fine its just the gfx card overheating tbh i think as i knocked the heatsink about abit

try rivatuner I think it is and turn up the fan speed
