Is there a way online to turn off Interleaving online instead of phoning up seen as my dad wont do it and said he can't trust me to phone up myself.

I know how to get into the Advanced Settings on the Hub and the Basic. But it doesn't seem like you can change it from there.

Your help is much appreciated.

I know interleaving is supposed to lower your ping but what is it actually for in the first place? why is it always turned on?

it's kinda like windows zero config were it tries to give you a more stable connection which makes you're ping higher. Also it's used to judge the timing differences to increase speed

I would probably be better with it off as I seem to lag alot.

It saves up the data that it receives and then dumps it in bigger loads or something. Whereas with it on you dump the data at all times.

interleaving - in lehmans terms if you think of it this way, you isp sends twice the amount of packets thats neccesary this is to ensure that if there were any packets dropped you wouldn't notice as you have a backup packet in effect. If you turn interleaving off this removes these 2nd packets thus lowering your ping as less packets are needing to be sent but this is why isp's say your connection might deteriorate with it off.
