Fell asleep at half time and there was 5 goals in 2nd half, typical :( Still can't see machaeda staying at Utd this season, same with Welbeck, both need to play a full season at another club until we offload berbatov/owen.

linde, rafael, vidic, evans, fabio, young, carrick, anderson, nani, rooney, berbatov.

fabio put it on a plate for berb at least twice, but he can't finish.

owen for rooney, macheda for berbatov at half time then during the course of the match, rio for vidic, park for anderson, diouf for carrick,(anderson might have come off for diouf actually and vice versa) obertan for young, giggs for nani.

From what I seen (which was only the first half, fell asleep too lol), Ashley Young looked quite good, they made sure he got the ball a lot and he put in some nice crosses. Good first outing for all of them really, although it's all about fitness at this point so I wouldn't expect too much from anyone yet!

Was he playing Diouf in a CM role? Thought he was meant to be a striker, not that he was great though. Had a few nice moments with Blackburn last season.

Obertan annoys me because he's been almost exactly the same since the day we signed him. Jazzy feet but seemingly doesn't do enough for Fergie to play him, instead he just laughs at his stupid French head.

Looking forward to seeing Young play, the charity shield match should be rather entertaining.

Was Anderson playing as an attacking midfielder? He used to be a prolific goalscorer for Brazil so I'm wondering if Fergie is starting to push him up the pitch now.

yeh im wondering about anderson aswel eriD, with fergie coming out and saying he isnt after sneijder(which obviously could be a lie) but maybe he wont sign someone to replace scholes as he plans to push anderson up more

That doesn't mean anything... Macheda can't even spell his name properly so I would ignore that comment lol.
I highly doubt the players get to know about transfers before anyone else lol, the club announce it to everyone at the same time :/

He isn't that good to be fair lol. Seen him live quite a few times for the reserves. If he wasn't David Gill's son I'd say he would have been released by now. He could probably be a regular for a Championship side mind..
