oh really, see I thought his tactic was to hit every cross over the bar as much as possible, so the goalkeeper got so convinced nothing he hit would go in until it finally did
Yeah not like his fainting and darting had any influence on the game.

i was surprised how much of uniteds play went through young, he was always available and always took up good positions. his crossing wasn't the best but if you have enough of the ball, like he did, something will go right for you. i think the questions should be asked of west broms defense/midfield for allowing young so much time on the ball throughout the game, united exploited that. eventually. stop being bitter. job done!

Not being bitter, not even saying he was awful. I was just amazed that he got man of the match. I won't be suprised to see park against tottenham.

de gea conceded most goals from outside the box in la liga last season.
spurs scored most goals in prem from outside the box last season. should be a good game monday!
i still think de gea will come good though, nerves getting better of him at moment.

G. Neville : "Winning for my club was always the most important thing and given a straight choice of a European Cup with United or a European Championship with England, it's United every time."

clutching at straws there tbf
why? :s id take £20m for him, 1 year left on his contract, younger players coming through
I don't mean that.. I mean there isn't much to go by that he's leaving the club for PSG lol.
And yeah £20m would be decent for him but I can't see it happening, can't see why United would want to sell him and he's already made it pretty clear he doesn't want to leave too.
personally dont think he suits man utd. would rather sell him and give welbeck and macheda a season if it dont work bring someone else in
PSG's approach for Dimitar Berbatov appears to have failed. Sporting director Leonardo revealed: "I had Ferguson on the phone but he told me that he was counting on Berbatov and that he was not for sale." The Daily Telegraph says United will extend the Bulgarian's contract for another year and take up that option to avoid losing the striker on a free transfer next summer.

i love how it how all the haters disappear when united put in a decent performance. imagine if that game was 0-0 ... united aren't good enough, they need a midfielder, cha cha cha. phil jones looks immense, i made orgasm noises at his defending tonight, what a guy.

smalling is good, jones was ~alright~, bit of a cheat when he destroyed defoe i think it was and then went ape saying GET UP YOU DIVER. made me lol. johnny evans is alright except he definitely has a red card coming his way and evra was rather slow.
man u dominated from 2nd half, nice goals!
first half was more open and end to end but the goods just didnt arrive for either team

Errm, are you visually challenged? I'm pretty sure it was Bale he took out, not Defoe...
Also the de gea stat, he also saved the most amount of shots from outside the box, if you see the compilation of his goals he let in, 95 percent were un-avoidable, due to awesome goals.

I thought that the first half was a typically slow start for United, but second half was all United. Tottenham were just desperate to shoot at the goal and decided to consistently shoot from distance. I know De Gea can be a little shaky, but shooting from 40 yards all the time isn't going to get you goals.

Hahaha. Last night was watching Fergie's thoughts on Welbeck where he said "when he was growing he had a bit of a negro problem" and I thought "you can't say that!"
Turns out he said knee growth.
