Rashad vs Phil Davis, no wait Davis out due to injury so now its Rashad vs Ortiz...nvm he declined the fight looks like Machida has accepted it now so its set.
Rashad vs Machida II
Oh hang on.
Dana White:
“Machida accepted the fight. We knew for a couple days this was going down, and Machida accepted the fight. Then when we called back and said, ‘OK, we’re going to make this fight,’ Machida’s people came back and said, ‘We’ll tell you what. You pay us what you pay Anderson Silva, and we’ll take the fight.’ This was after they had already agreed to take the fight.
I said, ‘Are you [expletive] kidding me? I’ll tell you what. You tell Machida he achieves what [expletive] Anderson Silva has achieved, then maybe he’ll make Anderson Silva money. Have a nice day.’…
Tito turned it down, and then Tito called back and said, ‘Did you get the fight yet?’ I said, ‘Nope.’ He goes, ‘Let me think about it. Let me talk to my team, and I’ll call you back tomorrow.’ This was Tuesday night…
Tito stepped up to the plate. It’s [expletive] weird here. It’s like I’m dealing with a new person. I like it. I like the new Tito. The storyline is what’s so interesting. Tito went from ‘You’re about to be cut,’ to now, if he beats Rashad Evans, he’s back in the mix. He’s back in the picture.”
LOL bye Machida

Yeah it's Tito now. I kinda feel sorry for Tito because the likeness of him beating Evans is slim. And if Tito looses another fight, could be the end for him (Dana's not really liking the new Tito, he'll cut him as soon as does something wrong).
I'm not to sure where Machida's bad attitude is coming from tho, maybe it's just words being mixed around and Dana talking b.s again i dunno. But anyway we will see, i'm more interested in the franklin fight. Been rumoured that franklin is wanting to retire and then UFC wanna retire Belfort. Quite like to see franklin revenge his loss against him tho, Belfort's abit of a tit.

franklin wouldnt ever beat belfort lol.
this is a massive fight for tito, i think rashad is gonna try and take him out on on standup, but rashads suspect chin will be a weak point if tito can catch him like he did agaisnt bader then awesome for tito he would be next in line for title shot. rashad is on dana whites shitlist. so a loss for him is really bad lol, in 1 way im glad machida didnt rematch rashad as if griffin pulls out v rua machida is on stand by for machida rua 3 :D...
thing is though i cant see anybody in LHW beating jon jones apart from machida or a fully fit rua(which is basically impossible hes like the kierondyer/michael owen of ufc)

I'm sorry but i think Tito has every chance i think you should watch Tito vs Rashad #1... Tito was the better fighter and would have won if he didn't get a penalty for holding the fence which every fighter does. I also don't think Dana would fire him he loves people who fill in and make their self available so Tito would have gone up in his estimations alot and i think taking this fight on short notice will give him at least 2 more fter this.
I have always liked Ortiz he carried the UFC when he was champion he was the reason it stayed alive and although you can say he hasnt evolved with the sport he hasnt fought anyone outside the top10 for the last 13 years and he only losses close fights(apart from vs Chuckl) the guy is a legend and if you remember back had Lyoto Macida in a triangle at the end of their fight 20 more secs and he would of won. Don't rule Tito out Bader was supposed to walk over him look what happend there... WAR TITO!
Machida wantedore money thats all it is, he wanted ALOT as he was stepping in but i think he should have turned the fight down before accepting it then saying he would only do it for X amount. The only thing is he has burned his bridges with Dana now so expect him to take the long way round to another title shot.

Nah i agree. I mean, i more meant that Tito is an underdog more than a lesser fighter. His fight against Ryan Bader was very impressive. Has obviously been training hard and we saw a fully fit Tito for the first time in years. Having said that tho, Tito was Evan's first real challenge in the UFC, he hadn't really fought any big fighters bar Bonnar in his UFC career.
Dont get me wrong, i want Tito to win, think he's a great fighter and a good character for the sport, i just think with Evan's better streak, he may have an advantage. Having said that tho, Evan's hasn't fought in over a year so, he may be abit rusty.

Evans will beat Tito I reckon. I would rather Tito wn but I just can't see a younger, quicker Rashad lose... Although I said the same about Bader :x
