is lightgamma 0 legal or illegal ?

cos on some dark maps like nuke or train ive seen ppl use it at the start, it makes you die but the whole map is evenly bright without any dark spots ?

ok thats great but does someone have any info on how i can make my screen any brighter in cs ? for some reason even on dust 2 its like dark.

i think i sorted it , i made a custom profile on the graphics card where i put up both my brightness and gamma to max and binded them to a key, so on like dark maps i just need to press that key and another key for normal profile.
