Hi guys was going to buy a pre buit pc for 1k but thought id check see if i could get better by building my own. Thing is im clueless on how to match parts and what not although i can build the pc.
So guys i cant go above 1k as thats my max budget and must include the following.
Windows 7 64
Case and include p and p
Must be able to destroy the newest games inc bf3 and id prefer an i7 tbh

you can spend £600 and play bf3 in full detail i5 + and £200 gfx card

gaming workhorse £990 (no p+p or w7 though)
i know nothing but ive been told that for gaming an i5 2500k is all you need

well because i have the money and i like having the best i can afford its not being flash or showing off its just the way i am. Im only asking to see if there was a better option then buying a pre built

The new i5 is better for gaming than a i7 mark. Have a look on overclockers mark, theres some great pre picked bundle deals that are all pre overclocked.. U said u can fit them no problems.
