As said in shoutbox it works if the 6770 is in slot 1 only but is there any reason for buying a new 6770 when the 5770 your getting for free is basically identical in terms of performance and features? It would make much more sense to spend the money you were gonna be spending on that 6770 on swapping your build to the i5 2500K with a decent socket 1155 motherboard and if theres stil dosh left over getting a small SSD (fairly cheap now) as a boot drive and stick a Steam on there and you can bung some games on the SSD (the ones you want) and the rest on a second 1-2tb storage drive which are cheap as anything nowadays.
The Bulldozer FX-4 4100 is barely matching the i3 currently and the i5 2500k obviously blows them both away in terms of value:performance. If your not a fan of overclocking (it is tedious) then a preclocked i5 2500k bundle off overclockers would save you the bother even if they bung like 20 quid on the preclocked bundles it saves grief and a clocked i5 is stomping a stock i7 / matching a clocked i7 for gaming.. !
