id personally have Crouch instead of Carroll, Lennon instead of Downing, Richards instead of Johnson

carrick instead of henderson as backup at least! henderson is gashhhhh!

the only player from liverpool id take would be gerrard the rest have been poor all season but no richards is a shame hes quality

another fail team for the euro who's gonna probably fail again

dunno why but after this season and specially since AVB has gone i really like lampard, but then he likes to push on hmm! where as parker likes to sit, with your starting 11 what you think will be played?

personally think Gerrard plays better when hes in a more forward roll, also cant see chamberlain starting walcott will, id probably play them both, the pace they generated against AC millan was frightening, picking a starting 11 is gonna be hard, be interesting to see if he plays Rooney in the friendly's as well

injured, Micah Richards should have gone. If not in place of Johnson then in place of Baines as Johnson and Richards can play either side.

why he hasnt taken richards is beyond me. its because he was liverpool manager and bums them so crappy johnson gets in, sighface. oxlade/walcott lm, rm and theyve got it sorted. defoe definitely needs to have some action as a sub, he is a super sub!

Defence: Johnson out Richards in, Jonesy/Lescott out rio in

Midfield: Carrick? SCHOLES COME OUT OF RETIREMENT PLEASE! I think everybody agrees Downing is a bad choice, Lennon/Johnson if he absolutely had to have another winger, as the squad effectively has 6 wingers with Milner and Gerrard both good on the wing. I think Lennon would have been a good option off the bench. Another option is Sturridge who could have offered cover on the wing whilst offering another striking option.

Stikers: Meh. Welbeck, Defoe, Rooney good picks. I think if Rooney/Welbeck get a bit of play time together they will show the strong link up play they have at united. In regards to Carroll, could argue he's only been good for the last month and Crouch has a great record but I can understand why he's going for Carroll.

downing is the biggest surprise for me, i think sturridge or A. Johnson should of gone instead.

Defoe hasn't played much this season for spurs but with Bent out I suppose he has to go. I would of put Crouch in front of Carroll just on his international record.
