You're trying to make it a black and white issue but it's not, there are shades of grey with alcohol related stuff.

I'm not, it is a huge shade of grey, I think that his punishment was harsh enough. He has killing two children and maiming their father on his conscience for the rest of his life - I doubt that sort of guilt will go away. I just think that there have been so many campaigns for the seriousness of drink driving that ignorance isn't an excuse. He chose to get into the car.
I don't really know what murder has got to do with it? You would go to prison for the rest of your life for the premeditated murder of two children.
