what also pissed me off was that every man and his dog knew before/during the game that if pirlo gets time and space he will boss midfield. so england start with 2 CF's and we get bossed. woy trys to change it by bringing on another CF, we get bossed. woy takes off parker for henderson, we get bossed. where was phil jones?!?! why not change to 4-5-1 sooner?!?! why did none of the fresh substitutes take a pen?! stupid decisions.

Typical response I expected nothing less from you. Young was unbelievably shit all tournament not a clue why he was a starter for the Ukraine match let alone Italy, lost the ball on many occasions and offered the team nothing offensively and defensively even though he was hyped up to be the man who could bring England great fortune at the Euro's, fucking halirious. Henderson is a totally different player and came on for Parker because his achilies was playing up and as a result of that may be missing out on the start of next season and Henderson only played a total of about 4 minutes for England so how you can try and shy the blame away on him is mind boggling.

That said, England's whole mentality and philosophy is wrong and I wish England had been beaten 8-0 by the Italians for some kind of a wake up call and total change in direction, never going to happen though really. Either way none of this matters but by lord have the courage to admit Young was shite and don't look for petty excuses.

i never said young played well or not?! i think in the first game he played well, the rest not so well. walcott got similar game time to henderson and actually contributed, goal + assist? granted he was in a more advanced position but hey, he did his job.

henderson made little to zero impact at all. it was obvs parker was on his arse through injury/exhaustion im just questioning why henderson was put on when he is a complete tool? i think phil jones would have given the midfield more energy and the odd escape route on the counter. could have even taken off rooney earlier (who was clearly unfit), pushed milner inside alongside gerrard/parker/jones and put walcott on the right. but henderson ... just no

Quite a good tournament, Spain were something else, especially in the final. So many of their players had outstanding tournaments, think they have a great chance in 2 years also, it would be mental if they won 4!

Also Ozil is obviously not a cm, just watch him play. An AM if ever I saw one

Hart's not nearly the best goalkeeper in the world too, has a way to go, palms a lot of shots back into the box, distribution isn't top class, isn't consistent against shots from 18-25 yards and flaps at crosses too much too. Good potential but people get too excited

Also, Wilshere has flaws to his game, he's not ruthless enough around the box, his passes are a bit overhit too often, the little chips over the defence which he obviously learnt from Fabregas but hasn't mastered yet. But he's with the right manager to learn that imo, Wenger turned Fabregas from what Wilshere is now into a free scoring/assisting AM, I suspect Wilshere will be moved into that role when he gets back
