I'm not bitter I'm just fully aware Liverpool do everything within their power to STOP football being played.
Effective but not football.
Bitter is not true, In fact quite the contrary, I'm rather overwhelmed at the amount this current Arsenal team has over-achieved this season, and to be top of the EPL for 4 months~, playing the best football in the country is something NOBODY here expected at the start of the season.
I was a season ticket holder at Spurs for 15 years and I still follow em closely, but this season is the first I haven't had a season ticket. The reason for this is football is going way downhill outside the top 4. Granted, Spurs still play entertaining football and seem to be involved in entertaining matches, they always have. It's just the Readings, Boltons and Wigans of this word that you can't be arsed on a weekend to go and see after all these years... the reason being that outside the top 4 the Premiership is resoundingly negative, and is going downhill every season.
Teams are too scared to lose games away from home so put 11 behind the ball, park a bus in front of the goal and try to nick a point. Fair enough they are just trying to not get relegated but the reason is the money they would lose from being relegated is absolutely devastating. 50% of teams have no aspirations other than to stay in the league and maybe push for the top half. It's about time a team stepped up and properly broke the top 4 open, otherwise it'll just be the same old shit every season. Sick of Sky Sports with Richard Keys' "drama voice" claiming every meeting between Arsenal v Liverpool is a "clash of the titans". Fucking hell, with the exception of that CL game it's the same as every season - boring
