I saw that 'The eye' yesterday.. it was pretty good, constantly things poppin out lol
has kindof a twist to it..
apparently 'The orphanage' is meant to be really scary and creepy, i think its the fact that they're young children is the scariest =/
i remember going to see whitenoise2 when it came out, i jumped loads in that
ive seen alot of scary films but there hasnt been one thats stuck with me.

i wouldn't mind something based on a true story, any film can make you jump. You want something that stays with you.

the only thing scary about the village was the fact when it had finished i realised i had lost two hours of my life.
"oh noes! monsters in the woods! who shall we send on a two day walk through rough terrain? THE BLIND GIRL!!"
obvious really.

hmm, i was brought up on horror movies, alot of them were like comedys, back in my day anyway.
eg: rawhead rex, evil dead, nightmare on elm street.
I remember watching some entertainment program when childs play was 1st being shown in america, women and men were getting ambulances called to the theaters cos they were passing out from fear, oh dear me.
But saying that, they never really bothered me, movies that fall into the horror genre really haven't ever had an effect on me...... until, and this pains me to confess because I know to others it's a tame movie, until 'jeepers creepers' came out.
Something about that story, and the way it is filmed, I find creepy. The 2nd one is tame for me, but the 1st one gives me the heebiejeebies.
The movies that I find most thought provoking in a scary way would probably be armageddon movies.
ah yeh revo, hellraiser movies were good, number 3 was the best.
