that video on youtube.. his jaw was just by3. To be fair as well the other guy did say he was gonna take out khan's weak chin and he did it in 30 seconds pretty impressive

Ok so ive allways played on this old 15" crt Fujitsu Ergo Pro with 640x480 and 120hertz, but when i bought a Viewsonic 19" i cant hit for shit with it. on my crt i would have all settings off and vsync off. Obviously people own with there LCD but when i try and use it i notice a difference but not for the good. are there any settings that would help me get on with my LCD. i read somehwere that fps_max 75 to match the hertz yet others say thats shit. any help please i want to migrate from this old crt to my nice screen.

you are ofcourse aware that the change in monitor hz also means you need to adjust your sensitivity?
what monitor have you got? i went from a 120hz crt to my viewsonic at 75hz and i'm fine on it just took a week or so to adapt properly to the change in sens and i use fps_max101 75 is stupid and feels laggy

yes its not the sens thats the problem its just the reg i find it harder i tried for two days with different settings do you use vsync on or off anistropic filter settings etc. when i switch back to crt im back to owning again. ill give it another go

what monitor is it that you are using? reg isn't affected by your monitor mate lol

CRT for cs, i have the same tft as sleek, ones used at OS. Very deacent but CRT as dolphin said will always be better for cs and if you mainly use you computer to play cs then crt.

god knows i use to love 120hz but when i got this crt it couldn't do that so played with 75hz just seemed so shit so tried 60hz and although for the first few days took some getting use to it just felt alot better compared to 75/85

Your spray is a lot better with a 100/120Hz on a crt compared to 75Hz with LCD.
If you are using a LCD screen the problem might be too high response time. You need at least a response time of 4ms if you are a cs player. So find out what the response time is, since it could be the problem

i think it's probably the response time that's the problem. When i went from CRT to LCD it was awful, just cant hit anything, now i'm back to CRT and it's much better.

this have a 2ms response time and i think im starting to get used to it. it seems because everything is so big that the hitboxes are easier to get like wallbanging etc, the spray is harder to do and i find myself allways swapping ak for m4 and i used to be an ak person. I downloaded the veiwsonic drivers and updated my gfx card drivers vsync off and all settings low.
