Ladies n Gentlemen been meaning to write this for a while and at last I have time
My PC atm is causing me all sorts of hassle with graphics also in CS fps drops slow processor, basically ive done everything to try and enhance the performance and its not working.

Im looking for some ideas of good but CHEAP parts for the PC that is good! for gaming.

- Nice fast computer
- Good GFX card for as little as possible
- Dual Core processor
- 2GB RAM

You know the rest, i mean i dont know a lot about comps but if someone could sort of make a few links for all the bit would be great cheers Big grin

I don't know much either, but the new nvidia 9 series graphics cards are on the market, would be worth getting one if its within the budget. Think you might be able to get them for about 160-180 maybe?

Whats your budget? You emphaised "CHEAP" but whats cheap for you?

Gigabyte P35 775 mobo
2GB OCZ 6400 800Mhz ram
core2duo E4500 800FSB
Nvidia 9600 512MB or maybe a entry level 8800 GTS 320MB

By the time you add on a case some hard discs, drivers and power supply it might run somewhere between £450-500?

I think if you went AMD you could get a processor for the price of a intel E4500 and the mobo cost would probably come down a notch.
