VM was sickle for me 8 ping & 2.45mb/s download.. prob bcus ur in an area infected with aids.

ive got zone alarm firewall which tells u what programs are connected to the internet, i am pinging fine on cs but generally websites are slow

My mate gave me his account and whenever I go on it I get that error "Unable to connect to steam" while im in the middle of a game. It just cuts straight out. It took me to some steamsupport page to tell me what the problem might be but it's all just stuff like "make sure youre not downloading or the game isnt being blocked by your firewall" but I dont use a firewall and im not downloading.
I only get this on the account he gave me my own one works fine. When im in source I get it too but it says "unable to make connection to vac server" and no it's not vac banned. Anyone know what's causing this?

Very strange, maybe some settings in your steam folder??

that's what steam do when they know someone is selling/trading/using each others accounts, they disable the net route to your hardware ip.
