Many users are unable to view theSGL website due to filters picking up the gratuitous swearing in the shoutbox. In consideration of this the shoutbox will be closed for the duration of an event to be announced later today to enable everyone to be able to see it. We will probably bring it back after the event but you never know we get used to not having the front page of our website defaced with racism and foul language on an hourly basis....

well its a not a exactly huge loss, don't use it myself, but your just directing traffic away from the sgl, just ban people for posting racism or whatever they post, if/when you see it

Thought it would happen! Its gonna be an event wehre we all get clubs, and go around to the people that swear a lot and politely ask them to refrain from it in the future.

it may be just a word but u dont see it many professional websites e.g. google microsoft having it on their frontpage as it can cause offense to people, therefore putting them off visiting the site........
