.. it's saying 'cannot find drive D:, installtion terminated' My D: drive broke the other day, it's not plugged into my computer. ATM iv only got C:\ on the computer but it auto installs + i cant select destination.

no, its trying to install on his D drive but he doesnt have it pluged in, he wants it to install on the C drive

different heatsink & motherboard (i think, i know the heatsink part is right)
its black
bigger hard drive
quieter disk drive

and thats it, apart from the hdmi cable, i think anyway

if its a data disc im pretty sure it cant
if youve got an external hdd you can plug it into your xbox and watch movies off that
i do it all the time

Get a ps3, the gameplay on ps3 is better, the only thing marginally better on xbox is xbox live, but thats only untill psn Home comes out on the playstation. PS3 is future proof, unlike the xbox.

bollocks about gameplay to, 360 has miles better gameplay cos half the ps3 games are just ports from pc or xbox atm.
i have to admit lots of top titles coming out on ps3 though this year and next

how can you really say gameplay is better? i've played loads of the same games on both and they're the same, only difference is controller lol. and home? seriously? yeah, there's a great idea... seriously, can somebody explain what it is about home people are raving about? =/ i dont get it, "OMG YOU CAN WATCH TRAILERS" yeah, great, just like sony keep doing, adding a through fucking hoops for you to jump through just so you can do something that really aint worth the freaking effort (and you can do in about 5 buttons presses on a 360). "OH BUT YOU HAVE AN APARTMENT" well, i guess that's what people without real lives that plan to live with mummy and daddy for years to come like the idea of... maybe you can even have girls over?!

end of the day it really is down to preference. what type of games you're after, what you think of the controllers etc.

had both for ages now, which one do i play every day? 360. ps3 is great for collecting the dust in the room though =]

oh and the elite is the way to go. i saw a deal on game yesterday where it came with rainbow six:vegas 2, gta4 and pgr4, can't remember how much it was, but i remember it tempting me =]
