I was delighted to find a massive contingent of Norwegian teams in the applications for the SteelSeries CCL league (two divisions just for Norway no less!) especially as I has always thoguht of them as being less active than their "viking" neghbours. With what turns out to be a thriving local CSS scene the side goes into this event with a team torn from the underbellies of Reason, Tweaked and Multigamer. Even going into this match as the favourites end up winners things will not be easy for the fjord dwelling frag machines as they face off against the Russians here tonight.
Probable team : warclown, chobo, mytte, drozo, oppy.
In stark contrast to their opponents tonight the Russians have so far only entered four teams into the CCL from what is now considered to a busy and skilled local scene. Will we see this evening if the introduction of the $100k national league has a new found brought strength in depth to the country affording the national side a greater diversity of skills to select from. With players taken from SevenPro, MGC, Pincho and Forze you can be sure the guys will be looking to show what they are all about.
