The England side comes into this event with a certain confidence in their own abilities and a fair amount of expectation to be there or thereabouts when the cup ends in four weeks time. Featuring players from Reason and Xciteuk along with the de facto picks from the CGS franchises London Mint and Birmingham Salvo. As with all these internationals the focus is always going to be a great deal less on teamwork and practice than on the individual skills and merits of the players themselves. England do not come up short in this department and can boast some fine players indeed - certainly more than enough to progress past the Spanish side tonight.
Probable team : henryg, url, hughsy, ritch and hudg.
Spain draw their players from the roster of Wizards and Overgame and led by st1lo will go into tonight's match up as distinct outsiders to progress to the next round. There hasn't usually been a burgeoning scene in Spain and for the most part there has always been a top handful of teams who really are able to compete on a higher European level though this does seem to be at odds with a scarcity of less skilled teams plying their trade within the Spanish borders. If they are to come out on top here tonight however they will have really worked hard to get it, Bueno suerte amigos.
