AVG vs SGLac

For those of suffering a loss of SGLac usability since the last AVG update I'm happy to tell you that as of the next standard update of the AVG client you will not have the problem any more.
The update over the weekend caused SGLac to be detected as a Trojan Horse and it was then stopped from working causing many users problems. After contacting them this morning they have immediately set things right and as of the next virus definition update SGLac will be excluded from their detections and will once again work without any problems for you.
The speed of action from AVG (and not least the fact that it is FREE of course!) is the reason why we recommend it as the Anti Virus of choice. Apologies to all for any problems and with thanks again to AVG for their speedy response to the issue.

I usually get an AM and a PM update, i think just missed the AM one with my contact to them so it could be by this afternoon. I dont mean to bang on about it but AVG "getting it done" springs to mind. top peoples.

Nice job
Good to hear that AVG actually pay attention to their inboxes, unlike other antivirus companies.

I just had an update to my AVG by the way. if you havent - right click on icon and select update to trigger it manually. The fix MAY be in this update, if not dont worry - another will be along soon , these guys dont sleep
just installed it as nod just messes up sglac whenever i even try and dload it.
