theSGL Season Nine

It has been a long time coming but finally it is here! We are delighted to announce our ninth full season of competitive play here on theSGL as we take a slightly different direction than in past seasons.

What is this different direction then? Well nothing too outlandish so don't panic! Simply put instead of running a season here for "this game" and a season there for "that game" we are combining everything together and wrapping it up in one big parcel. This will not affect the time and effort taken on each of the games and will we believe actually enhance the profile of each of the games featured.

What games are we "doing" then? Season Nine will feature multiple events for the following games and will be joined by two more titles which for the moment will remain unnamed.

Needless to say, preparations have been underway for quite some time now and we are looking forward massively to kicking the whole thing off. Full and precise details of what this means for each of the games listed and the formats the events will take will appear on theSGL.com on Sunday evening (14th December). That post will answer any questions you may have and will expand greatly upon the base principles of the upcoming season. We thank you for your patience and look forward to "getting back behind the wheel" of another season.

	Finally - whilst the team here at theSGL will be working itself into the ground for your benefit, we do like to introduce a few new faces to the admin team at the start of each season. So if you have the time and inclination to admin the odd match here and there or knock out some match previews/interviews etc - do drop us a line at mail@theSGL.com - thanks for it!

Hi guys,

Our new box died so we had to completely reinstall it. Obviously the site has been rolled back a few days. Apologies for this.

SGLAC is down but will be back up by this evening.
